The Resort
Groups may privately book the full resort on a non-package arrangement (see Prices page) for holidays, weddings, honeymoons, yoga retreats or health spas. Our restaurant, bar and facilities will provide you with all you need. And we assist you, as required, with any special needs such as local art and craft training, health and lifestyle services, yoga teachers, Indonesian language courses etc.
The resort holds up to 15 people in 5 rooms, although it is most comfortable with a maximum of 10 or less. Overflows can be accommodated at Heaven on the Planet.

Concept Architecture
A new genre of star hotel is emerging globally, known as “E-Tel”. These hotels are environmental and well serviced, in a fully natural setting. Good examples are the 5-star “Tents” in the Wildlife Parks in South Africa or the “Beach Huts” in the Maldives. They differ substantially from many beautiful star hotels that have enclosed A/C rooms and a sculpted artificial setting.
The designers of Ocean Heaven started with a natural backdrop of coconut palms, white sand beach and surf. There are many birds, butterflies, geckos and even a population of native monkeys which visit from time to time. The infinity pool with its natural marble terrace overlooks this vista and all the chalets have views of the sea and surrounding hillsides. The harmony of nature, the sounds of the birds and the backdrop of the surf can’t be put into words … you need to visit to fully appreciate the serenity.
When developing a concept for the property, the designers chose natural materials of wood, coconut, grass roof and marble. A decision was taken to use local village tradesman for much of the resort. The work was good, but not always precise, which provided a unique blend of nature and natural that gives the sanctuary a specific E-Tel charm.
